Terms and Conditions

1 Service provided by Bees Behind the Scenes  

1.1 The Customer agrees that any use of the Company’s services, including placing an order for cleaning services by telephone, live chat, email, or website forms shall constitute the Customer’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.   

1.2 We will provide you with a cleaning service from our experienced and trained personnel.   

1.3 We will provide all of the cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals unless agreed otherwise. Chemical and equipment costs are included in the rate. 

2 REGULAR DOMESTIC CLEANING

2.1 The customer agrees to pay the monthly fee via Direct Debit instruction.

2.2 Bees Behind The Scenes reserves the right to suspend cleaning services if monthly payments are missing or if paperwork is not returned to Bees Behind The Scenes prior to the first cleaning visit

2.3 Minimum duration of 3 hours per cleaning visit applies for all domestic cleaning services.

2.4 The sales advisors can only give a rough estimate of the duration of the cleaning service, which is based on a basic description of the customer's house. Please note that duration may vary therefore a degree of flexibility is required.

2.5 We provide all of the cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals unless agreed otherwise.  

2.6 If collection of keys is required from a location outside the postal code area of the cleaning scheduled, £15.

2.7 Bees Behind The Scenes will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. The customer should give any special instructions for the deactivation/activation of any household alarm systems.

2.8 30 days minimum contract length applies The customer understands that the price quoted over the phone or email does not include anything apart from cleaning.  

3 END OF TENANCY CLEANING & ONE-OFF CLEANING / SPRING CLEANING      3.1 End of Tenancy Cleaning is charged per job the current condition, number of rooms, bathrooms, WCs, shower rooms, and en-suites. Please note that we don’t charge per hour per cleaner and the number of operatives attending your property may vary. The number of cleaners in a team cannot affect the initially quoted price.

3.2 Bees Behind The Scenes reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client's original requirements change.

3.3 If collection of keys is required from a location outside the postal code area of the cleaning scheduled, £15.

3.4 The sales advisors can only give a rough estimate of the duration of the cleaning service, which is based on a basic description of the customer's house. Please note that duration may vary therefore a degree of flexibility is required.

3.5 The customer is advised that an end-of-tenancy cleaning may take double the length of time required for general cleaning. After Builders Cleaning, After Party Cleaning or Badly neglected homes may take up to three times longer than a well-maintained home requiring general cleaning. 

4 CARPET CLEANING

4.1 Bees Behind The Scenes reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client's original requirements change.

4.2 If the customer has a dog, cat or other hairy pet then an extra 30% charge will be added to the service price due to the extensive amount of animal hair slowing down the cleaning process.

If collection of keys is required from a location outside the postal code area of the cleaning scheduled, £15 (excl. VAT).

5 PAYMENTS

5.1 Payments to be made to the Company within 14 days after the receipt of invoice which is issued the day after the clean has taken place. 

 5.2 Payment methods in the respect of invoices to the company can be by cheque or Bank        Transfer. 

5.3 Customer understands that any 'late payments' may be subject to additional charges of 15%
